Description
A fun new way to play disc golf! Cheat Scheetz were
developed to introduce new friends into the sport of
disc golf and, as a fun way to keep casual
rounds casual.
The rules are fair, and fun for all, in
recreational or competitive play!
One set contains six Survivor style disc golf
advantages in each deck. Each card can only be
played once per round. When played the card should
be removed from the deck and hung on your bag by
the lanyard punch to keep track of the cards played
during the round.
It can be played with 1 deck and up to 6 people
or with multiple decks where each player can play
the entire deck. In single deck play with 4 people
each player draws one advantage and keeps it
confidential until played. In 3 person play each
player can draw 2 advantages, or 3 advantages in 2
person play.
The advantages available in each deck are:
The “Gimme 3 Steps” card may be played by the
player to move their disc lie three steps in any
direction. Steps may be as small as a normal step or
as large of a leaping step as they choose, but the
total number of steps thou shall take is three (three
being the number on the card). Thou shall not take
two steps, nor four, and five is right-out. The
“Gimme 3 Steps” card cannot be played to move
you in bounds to avoid a penalty.
The “Mulligan” card allows a player to scratch their
first drive and take another drive off the tee pad,
without penalty, as their first shot on the hole.
The “Mulligan” card cannot be used on an approach
shot or putt.
The “Sloppy Seconds” card may be played to take
one do over on any approach shot or putt without
adding a stroke to the score for that hole.
The “Sloppy Seconds” card cannot be used off the
tee pad on a drive or in conjunction with the
“Mulligan” card.
The “This is not OB” card may be used to play your
disk from its lie without a penalty stroke. If the lie is
dangerous or stuck in a tree above two meters the
one meter rule is in effect to move the lie up to one
meter (three feet) due to a safety hazard to place the
new lie in a position that is safe for play. If there is no
safety hazard involved in playing the OB lie the
player must play from the spot of the lie. Ankle deep
water without any current would not be considered
a safety hazard. Dense poison ivy, unstable footing,
deep treacherous gorges, snakes, alligators, and
dense impassable foliage would be considered a
safety hazard.
The “It’s a Birdie” card may be played for any throw
outside 30′ that hits metal (chains, pole, basket, top,
or rim). This card may also be used in conjunction with
a “Sloppy Seconds” card. It may be played to score an
albatross, eagle, or birdie. If you get an actual birdie,
eagle, or albatross you may still play the card without
any change to your score in the quest to play all six
cards in one round.
The “Scores Like an Ace” card may be played when a
player hits metal (chain, pole, basket, top, or rim) on
a drive to score the drive as a one. This card may also
be used in conjunction with a “Mulligan” card. If you
get an actual ace you may still play the card without
any change to your score in the quest to play all six
cards in one round.
